WinMAGI now has the ability to print QR (Quick Response Code) 2 dimensional bar-codes. The benefit of the QR bar-code is that much more information can be embedded into the bar-code and the QR format is much quicker and easier to read on a scanner. The QR bar-code is not a actual font but rather a calculated graphical representation of a block of data. Therefore, some modifications will need to be made to the relevant document but this is generally a simple procedure. 
As well as the QR bar-codes, WinMAGI can also produce the standard set of bar-code symbologies including EAN, Code 3 of 9, GS1-128 and more. In addition, the bar-codes can be created in BMP, JPG or PNG formats as discrete files that can then be accessed and used outside of WinMAGI.
