Avalara Cloud Based Tax Processing
This build introduces the new TSI module which is a Tax Services Integration service with the cloud based Avalara Tax Compliance system.
Drag and Drop
A number of data entry screens within WinMAGI have been updated to facilitate ‘drag and drop’ functionality. Spreadsheet files containing data can be ‘dragged and dropped’ onto the relevant screen and used to automatically create the data entries. For example, a spreadsheet containing a list of a clients sales order details, i.e. product codes, quantities, required delivery dates etc, can be dragged and dropped into the Sales Order Entry screen and each line in the spreadsheet will automatically generate a new line in the sales order.
Accounts Receivables Cash Receipting
The AR Cash receipt screen has a new lookup option by invoice number. The invoice number lookup can be used to help select the customer from whom the payment has been received rather than performing a customer id lookup.
Blanket Purchase Orders
The Blanket Purchase Order creation within Purchase Order entry has been enhanced to allow a ‘repeat cycle’ of Month.
Grid Field Details
A new information display screen has been added to WinMAGI that provides information about the data fields within a grid. Double clicking on the grid column heading will display the new information screen and show the name of the field in the column, the type of field and any descriptive notes about the field. This will be a useful tool for those sites that like to control what data is being displayed and understand how it is being used within the displayed grid.
